Psych Screening and Medication Management

A PA for over 23 years, Joanna has practiced in multiple specialties but has chosen to focus on psychiatric medication management for the last 9 years, providing personalized care for children as young as 6 and adults. She has broad experience that includes providing psychiatric medication management for those with eating disorders in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.

Joanna is adept at treating various psychiatric illnesses, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, sleep disorders, attention deficit disorders, anger issues, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and oppositional defiant disorder. Joanna also treats psychiatric comorbidities of Alzheimer’s patients. With her goal being to help her patients feel good about themselves and their lives, Joanna prescribes and manages the best medications for each of her patients based on their individual needs. Patients appreciate Joanna’s exceptional listening skills and her gentle, caring nature, which create a comfortable and supportive environment for them to open up and share their thoughts.

Originally from NY, Joanna, her husband, and their three sons have lived in Charlotte for more than 15 years. She received her formal education in New York at Syracuse University and the Pace University PA Program.

A representative from Resilience Wellness will contact you prior to the appointment to collect co-pays and/or deductibles if applicable.

To change your appointment, please contact Sarah Parsons at sarah.parsons@rdmgpa.com or (984) 349-8886. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, patients are required to contact Sarah or their provider via email or text message at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time to avoid a fee.

Resilience Wellness Telehealth No-Show and Cancellation Policies

It is the goal of Resilience Wellness to provide exceptional care to every patient in a timely manner. We appreciate your understanding of and adherence to our policies.

Patients who miss their appointment (no-show) or fail to cancel or reschedule the appointment more than 24 hours in advance will be charged a $150 fee. New patients who no-show and/or late/same-day cancel/reschedule their initial appointment twice may not be permitted to reschedule with any of our providers for 30 days.

If a patient has incurred 2 documented no-shows and/or late/same-day cancellations/reschedules, Resilience Wellness reserves the right to dismiss the patient or require a non-refundable payment based on self-pay rates for any future services.

Patients who have 3 no-shows and/or late/same-day cancellations/reschedules may be discharged from the program (including therapy and med management).

For a patient previously dismissed due to no-show and/or late cancellation/rescheduling to be eligible to schedule with a Resilience Wellness provider again, any and all patient charges, including fees pertaining to missed appointments, must be settled, and prepayment of a portion of the new visit amount may be required.

Patients with a Resilience Wellness balance at or above $225 must make a payment to bring the balance below $225 prior to being seen by their provider.
