Angelina Armstrong, LCSW

Angelina graduated with honors from the University of New Hampshire with a Master of Science in Social Work and a specialization in Primary Care Behavioral Health. Prior to entering clinical practice, she managed an emergency domestic violence shelter and worked as a victim advocate at a local Child Advocacy Center, supporting child victims of abuse and their families. Her professional background also includes working as a therapist in a mental health crisis center, as well as behavioral health settings providing outpatient and inpatient substance use rehabilitation and mental health services.

Angelina has also practiced as a therapist in private and group practice settings and within a military family clinic, where she served active-duty service members, retired veterans, and their families. These diverse clinical experiences have shaped a trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative approach to care.

Her clinical specialties include the treatment of anxiety, depression, and trauma in both children and adults. She utilizes evidence-based interventions, including MATCH-ADTC and exposure-based therapies, with advanced training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for trauma. Her work emphasizes safety, skill-building, and empowerment while supporting clients in achieving meaningful and sustainable change.

Outside of her professional work, she thrives on spending quality time with her family and pets and values creating new and meaningful memories.

OR use your internet browser to access https://zoom.us. Select “Join A Meeting” in the upper right-hand side of Zoom’s landing page. When prompted, input 728 221 9397 for the meeting ID.

Angelina will admit you from the waiting room into the session. Please note that at times, there may be a delay in your provider joining the meeting, and an appropriate grace period past your scheduled appointment time may be necessary to allow your provider to prepare to meet with you. Your patience and understanding are appreciated.

If you experience technical issues and need to reach Angelina, please call (919) 375-866 or email Angelina.Armstrong@RDMGPA.com. For emergencies call 911 or go to the closest emergency room.

A representative from Resilience Wellness will contact patients prior to the appointment to collect co-pays and/or deductibles if applicable.

In order to change your appointment, please contact Sarah at Sarah.Parsons@rdmgpa.com or (984) 349-8886. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment, patients are required to contact Sarah or their provider via email or text message at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time to avoid a fee.

Resilience Wellness Telehealth No-Show and Cancellation Policies

It is the goal of Resilience Wellness to provide exceptional care to every patient in a timely manner. We appreciate your understanding of and adherence to our policies.

Patients who miss their appointment (no-show) or fail to cancel or reschedule the appointment more than 24 hours in advance will be charged a $150 fee. New patients who no-show and/or late/same-day cancel/reschedule their initial appointment twice may not be permitted to reschedule with any of our providers for 30 days.

If a patient has incurred 2 documented no-shows and/or late/same-day cancellations/reschedules, Resilience Wellness reserves the right to dismiss the patient or require a non-refundable payment based on self-pay rates for any future services.

Patients who have 3 no-shows and/or late/same-day cancellations/reschedules may be discharged from the program (including therapy and med management).

For a patient previously dismissed due to no-show and/or late cancellation/rescheduling to be eligible to schedule with a Resilience Wellness provider again, any and all patient charges, including fees pertaining to missed appointments, must be settled, and prepayment of a portion of the new visit amount may be required.

Patients with a Resilience Wellness balance at or above $225 must make a payment to bring the balance below $225 prior to being seen by their provider.
